Two decades after facilitating the lease of Morrison's first store on High Street in Fremantle, Realmark Commercial’s Wayne Chorley has once again partnered with the iconic fashion brand in securing their latest asset.
This acquisition marks a significant milestone in Morrison’s growth from a local Fremantle brand, where it first opened doors in 2002 with the help of its namesake, a Kelpie Cross named Morrison, to a national fashion powerhouse.
Morrison’s journey from a single store to a widely recognised national label began with the “Good Butt Pant,” a design by Radford that became an almost overnight success.
Today, Morrison boasts 10 stores across Australia and is widely available in 26 David Jones locations and on The Iconic.
“We are proud our growth has been strong and steady,” says Kylie Radford, co-founder and Creative Director of Morrison.
“Every decision is careful and strategic, and I am so happy we were able to find a location so close to where it all began 22 years ago.”
The newly acquired property, located just four kilometres from the heart of Fremantle, is situated within the Cockburn Coast Redevelopment Area, with 1,662sqm of land and 555sqm of high-quality office and warehouse space.
“Working with Morrison again after 22 years, helping them secure a property that supports their vision for the future, has been immensely gratifying,” said Mr. Chorley, director of industrial sales and leasing at Realmark Commercial.
“This new site at 1 Garston Way in North Coogee, with a significant land area and prime location within the Cockburn Coast Redevelopment Area, presents an exceptional opportunity for Morrison's continued expansion and success.”
