Realmark Commercial is proud to be providing asset and facilities management services for Barwon Investment Partners’ predominantly medical property portfolio in Western Australia.
The portfolio includes nine locations spread across WA, headlined by the newly redeveloped Victoria House in Shenton Park.
It’s the largest portfolio of medical assets taken on by Realmark Commercial’s management team.
Headquartered in Sydney, Barwon Investment Partners is a specialist fund manager investing in alternative assets across healthcare property, property finance and global investments.
Its decision to trust Realmark Commercial with its portfolio in WA is a reflection of Realmark’s customer service focus and a strong relationship with associate director of asset management, Gemma Hayes.
“With a large team and expertise across a number of asset classes and disciplines within commercial property, Realmark Commercial has the capacity to offer an outstanding level of service to landlords and tenants,” said Ms Hayes.
“As a WA-based organisation, we understand what’s important to local tenants and offer a relationship-first approach to management, with communication and collaboration a priority.”
With seven years’ experience in property management, Ms Hayes has gained a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise, having undertaken leadership positions on key projects.
Her team at Realmark Commercial is well equipped to handle the specific needs of medical and mixed-use commercial assets.
“Managing medical property entails a focus on regulatory compliance, tailored leases, and rigorous facility management - particularly in hygiene and waste disposal,” she said.
“Advanced security measures and strong tenant relations are also essential, along with specialised risk and asset management strategies.
“Sustainable practices should also be integrated for environmental and patient well-being.”
Realmark Commercial property manager Shannon McCabe and facilities manager Tamyra Adams will be key leaders under Ms Hayes in ensuring the portfolio’s needs are maintained, with guidance from company director, Elodie Allegret.
The all-female team will continue to build the already strong relationship with Barwon Investment Partners and its tenants to ensure all stakeholders investment aspirations are met.
